  • Hydraulic linear actuators: It is analogous to pneumatic linear actuators, but in a hydraulic actuator, an incompressible liquid is supplied by a pump, which contrasts the pressurized air moving the cylinder in a linear movement. This is made up of two parts, i.e., one is an actuating component, and the other is a controlling device.
  • Electric linear actuators: With the rotational force of a motor, i.e., electric energy, and converts it into linear movement. By turning the screw of the actuator via the nut, the motor will move in a line from top to bottom, creating a push / pull effect for the weight.

Hence, each of these actuators is essential for their proper application, but with technological developments in the manufacturing world, it has made these motion devices interchangeable.
